INFORMATION FOR SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome at all scottishathletics events.
Doors Open at 0830hrs via the first floor concourse (Level 3)
Due to the heightened UK security level bag checks will be in operation at the Emirates Arena.
Cost of Admission is £5 per person which will include an Event Programme, Under 16's are FREE
NOTE: Suitcase and Pushchairs are not permitted within the seating area of the Emirates.


Online entries will open on Monday 19th November and close at MIDNIGHT on Thursday 10th January 2019


ENTRY LIMITS:
Under 17 Women Long Jump - A maximum of 24 entries will be accepted.
Athletes with a verified performance of 4m30 or better in 2018 will be guaranteed entry to the championships.


Verified Performances are those shown on the Power of 10 website.  www.powerof10.info

ENTRY DEADLINE
: All forms of entry close on the Thursday 10th January 2019. NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted.
Entries will close at midnight of the closing date. If you experience any problems please email events@scottishathletics.org.uk BEFORE midnight of the closing date. Emails submitted after this time will NOT be accepted.

Individual Entries
Can only be submitted online. NO individual entries will be accepted by post or by email.
When entering online you will receive two email confirmations, one from scottishathletics and one from the payment provider Sagepay. If you only receive one or neither, please contact scottishathletics otherwise you may not be registered.

Club Entries
Club entry forms are available from events@scottishathletics.org.uk, these must be completed and returned by email with payment details before the closing date.

If you are experiencing difficulties with entering online, please make sure that your membership is activated. You can check this by contacting scottishathletics on 0131 476 7321 or email: membership@scottishathletics.org.uk 

Affiliation
If entering from outside Scotland, you may enter this event however you need to either be a member of scottishathletics OR a member of your National Governing Body.

Track and Field Championship Rule for scottishathletics members with multiple club memberships

  • Athletes who do not have a Scottish Club affiliation on the provision they are a member of their National Governing Body can compete for their non Scottish Club at the Championships.
  • scottishathletics athletes who in addition to being a member of a Scottish Club are also members of a non-Scottish Club should compete for their Scottish Club at all scottishathletics Championship events.
  • scottishathletics athletes who are members of more than one Scottish Club can choose which club they intend to represent this must be done at the popint of entry.  This is regardless of their membership status of each club.
  • Athletes may only compete for one Scottish Club at scottishathletics Championship events over the course of any competition year. (Running annually from 1st October).  i.e. Athletes must compete for the same club in the District and National Championships. (Except Track and Field Relays)

The above rule will allow athletes who have changed their first claim club for competition purposes to be eligible to compete in District and National Championships for the club of their choosing.

Additional Guidance
Club Vests: UKA Rule 143S1 applies to clothing worn at the Championships.
Athletes may only represent their University if the University Athletics Club is affiliated to scottishathletics for Track & Field competition.

Refund Policy
As a policy, scottishathletics do not provide refunds. However, if an event receives less than 3 entries, the Championship Committee reserve the right to cancel that event and if no other suitable arrangement can be made, a refund may be offered.

Age Groups/Qualification
Under 15: Born between 01/09/04 and 31/08/06
U15's may compete as U17's in these championships, but must adhere to U15 event restrictions.
Under 17: Born between 1/09/02 and 31/08/04
Under 20: Born between 31/12/99 and 31/08/02
U20's may compete as Seniors in these championships, but must adhere to U20 event restrictions.
Senior: Born before 31/12/99
Master: 35 and over on day of competition (5 year age group)

Entry Restrictions
In accordance with UKA Rules of Competition, Rule 141 S1 and Rule 21S4(6):

U15's
- U15s may compete in a maximum of 3 events.
- U15s may only enter one event of 300m/400m OR 800m OR 1500m.
- Triple Jump Restrictions: 7m and 9m boards will be avaiallbe only.  Run Ups wil be restricted to a maximum distance of 22m from the take off board.

U17s
- U17s may compete in a maximum of 3 events.
- Triple Jump - only the following Take Off Boards will be available - U17M 9m + 11m / U17W 7m + 9m
- Pole Vault Starting Heights and Progressions - U17M / U17W 2m13-2m33-2m53-2m68-2m83-2m98-3m08-3m18-3m28
- High Jump Starting Heights and Progressions - U17M 1m38 and up in 5cm increments / U17W 1m28 and up in 5cm increments

U20s
- U20s may not compete in more than 4 events.

Seniors
- Triple Jump - only the following Take Off Boards will be available - Sen Men 11m + 13m / Sen Women 9m + 11m
- Pole Vault Starting Heights and Progressions - SM 3m43-3m63-3m83-4m03-4m18-4m33-4m43-4m53-4m63
- Pole Vault Starting Heights and Progressions - SW 2m13-2m33-2m53-2m68-2m83-2m98-3m08-3m18-3m28
- High Jump Starting Heights and Progressions - SM 1m68 and up in 5cm increments / SW 1m38 and up in 5cm increments
